Which one should i be using? Update Im assuming because my Android App & Server are update to date but my Media Player is a couple of versions old that it needs an update to work with the Android app again. ![]() But recently the Android App will no longer see the Desktop program so i can no longer use it to control Plex on my desktop. So far its been working well (think im a couple versions out of date). Then on my desktop, where it gets the most use i use the Plex Media Plyer software. Im running my Plex Media Server (latest version available) from my Qnap and so far i watch the media from it on a Amazon Fire Stick using the Plex App for when im in the living room and so far that works fine (be it a bit slow in the menus and loading a video) Please go to the relevant subreddits and support forums, for example: Build help and build shares posts go in their respective megathreads No referral / affiliate links, personal voting / campaigning / funding, or selling posts Welcome to /r/Plex, a subreddit dedicated to Plex, the media server/client solution for enjoying your media!
